The Recovery and Healing Symposium on 28 October 2025

Join us for a half-day hybrid symposium exploring holistic healing and recovery practices and research. The event will feature a Keynote Presentation on the evidence-based, holistic recovery and healing framework by Carolyn Robinson, Founder and CEO of Beyond DV. Dr Karen Williams and Sally Stevenson AM from the Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre will present the innovative work of Australia’s first federally-funded Trauma Recovery Centre. This will be followed by a panel discussion by sector leaders: Jade Parker, ACON; Geraldine B., Family Safety Victoria; Leslie Smith, Quantum Support Services, & A/Prof Jessamy Gleeson, Deakin University. Deakin University’s leading research on recovery and healing will be presented by A/Prof Dr. Lata Satyen and Dr Renee Fiolet.
