What does the manosphere tell us about online masculinities, misogyny and the ways gendered harm can be produced, amplified and commercialised?
The Deakin Network Against Gendered Violence (DNAGV) is pleased to present Managing Misogyny in the Manosphere, a timely discussion bringing together four Deakin researchers — Professor Marilyn McMahon, Dr Alice Witt, Dr Megan Beatrice and Dr Alessandro Crocetti — to explore different dimensions of the manosphere, including the monetisation of misogyny and harmful masculinities, the exploitation of men’s vulnerabilities, feminism’s response to masculinist narratives, and the way Australian courts encounter the manosphere.
